Friday 27 July – Sunday 29 July 2012

Some 302 km’s from Cape Town the R362 winds its way up the picturesque West Coast. Along this largely unspoiled coastline lies Doringbaai, home to a small but hardy fishing community and arguably the world’s only vineyard this close to the Atlantic Ocean.

Marketed under both Fryer's Cove and Wines of Origin Bamboesbay, the wines are exceptionally unique in character. From 2008 Fryer’s Cove also markets the Fryer’s Cove Bay to Bay Sauvignon Blanc, which is made of grapes sourced from the neighbouring (Lamberts Bay and Koekenaap) wards to the Bamboesbay ward. This wine is also slightly wooded.
