Bushmans
Kloof Wilderness Reserve and Retreat, the Relais & Chateux property
located at the foothills of the Cederberg Mountains some 270 kilometres
from Cape Town, has introduced a brand new personal Chauffer Drive Road
Transfer service providing guests with an alternate option to self-drive
to the lodge.
A special introductory offer is available at R2500 return per vehicle
from Cape Town, for 1 to 5 adult passengers (plus 2 children if applicable),
while a special value offer has also been introduced comprising of complimentary
Chauffeur Drive Road Transfers from Cape Town to all guests who book
a Suite for 3 nights or more. (Booking is subject to availability. Terms
and Conditions apply).
The comfortable Bushmans Kloof Toyota Fortuner can accommodate up to
5 adult passengers (with their luggage). For the convenience of guests
heading to Koro Lodge, the private villa within the Bushmans Kloof reserve
where children are welcomed all year round, the vehicle also seats two
children on flip-down seats with seatbelts in the rear of the vehicle.
A baby car seat is available on request and additional luggage will
be transported in a trailer.
Guests utilizing this service will be driven by licensed chauffeur,
Searle Johannes who has successfully completed the Advanced Driving
courses of the City of Cape Town as well as the SA Police Services.
He has extensive experience including vehicle escorting and body guarding
of VIP’s, and he will highlight points of interest to guests en route
from Cape Town via Malmesbury, Moorreesburg, Piketberg, Citrusdal, the
Olifantsriver Valley, Clanwilliam and the magnificent Pakhuis Pass to
the lodge, which is approximately a three hour drive.

international guests finding it daunting to self-drive on unfamiliar
roads through the countryside, the acquisition of its own passenger
transfer vehicle gives Bushmans Kloof a competitive edge and the opportunity
to further extend the hospitality it is renowned for. ‘We are proud

to the start of their journey when our guests are collected in Cape
Town, right until the moment our driver returns with them to Cape Town

or those who would perhaps like to enjoy the pleasure of this gloriously
scenic one-hour flight.’
